The FyberPay Research Team is a working group of FyberPay engineers and ISP-operations advisors writing about the Kenyan ISP market from inside the platform that runs it.

Areas of expertise

• ISP billing automation: M-Pesa STK Push, M-Pesa Bill Manager, FreeRADIUS, walled-garden dunning.
• Network operations: PPPoE provisioning, hotspot captive portals, GPON / SmartOLT, MikroTik RouterOS.
• Communications Authority of Kenya licensing tiers (NFP and ASP) and the operating obligations they carry.
• County-level ISP economics, addressable-market modelling, and competitive positioning.
